Hello, Autumn! It’s that time when we get to welcome back cozy sweaters, colourful leaves on trees and turkey dinners. If you’re planning on having friends and family over for dinner this fall (Thanksgiving is Monday, October 10th, btw), then we encourage you to try any of the delicious items listed below – they are some of our very favourite fall food accompaniments!

Mrs. McGarrigle’s Cranberry Port Mustard $7.50/190 ml;  $4.00/90ml

Our very own, award-winning Cranberry Port mustard is a staple in the Mrs. McGarrigle’s lineup. A perennial favourite, this mustard has the sweet tartness of cranberries and the fruitiness of a fine, tawny port. We dry roast the mustard seed first (something we do for this mustard only) which adds a nice, nutty background flavour. Starts off sweet, then intensifies with a smoky heat. The Garlic Box Garlic Mashed Potato Seasoning – $10.95

Mmmm…garlic mashed potatoes. The thought alone just makes your mouth water! This seasoning from The Garlic Box is made from hand-snapped local garlic, cut thick and dried slow for a layered, complex garlic flavour. Try it in scalloped potatoes, potato salad, egg noodles, soups, sauces – you can even sprinkle it on popcorn! A very diverse seasoning.

Gourmet du Village Baked Brie Toppings – $4.95

Baked brie is one of those appetizers that everyone loves, and it is made that much better when you add a delicious topping. On your Thanksgiving table, this sauce is *it*! Stonewall Kitchen’s Cranberry Horseradish sauce surpasses regular cranberry sauce by leaps and bounds.
