Merrickville, Ontario – Mrs. McGarrigle’s is pleased to announce that Chef Thomas Riding has joined Mrs, McGarrigle’s as Resident Chef and Kitchen Manager. Thomas comes to Mrs. McGarrigle’s after 8 years as chef at Sam Jakes Inn. He’s also the creator of Just Wing’It Sauces, which will continue to be featured prominently at Mrs. McGarrigle’s.
Prior to emigrating to Canada in 2002, Thomas received his culinary training in Scotland, honed his expertise at Hilton Hotels in Europe and at a hunting lodge in the Scottish Highlands.
Thomas will manage mustard production and assist with new product development. He will lead more in-store cooking classes and demonstrations to meet the high demand, as well as focus on the NEW Friday Night Chef-Prepared Take-Home Dinners.
