Friday Night Take-home Dinners

Thomas will be offering delicious take-home meals every Friday night!  Vegetarian options are available most times.  Menus will change weekly so visit our website or our Facebook page for details.  Pre-book by calling the store prior to 5:00 PM on Wednesdays or take a chance and drop in between 4-7:00 PM on Fridays.  Call us at (613) 269-3752 to order.

February. 24 - Wild Mushroom Gnocchi - Giant pillows of potato gnocchi flavoured with wild mushrooms served with a creamy tarragon sauce, asparagus tips and Cremini mushrooms.  $11.95 per person*.

March 9 - Mac and Cheese Our Way ~ cooked with Pancetta, Cremini mushrooms, Gruyere and smoked Cheddar, and topped with butter-toasted breadcrumbs flavoured with Mrs. McGarrigle’s Red Wine and Garlic mustard.  $11.95 per person*.

March 16 - Curried Lamb Meatballs cooked in a rich Indian spiced tomato broth loaded with chickpeas, spinach and fresh Coriander.  $10.95 per person*.   Add Garlic Naan for $1.95*

March 23Pork Goulash ~ tender pieces of pork from Wendy’s Market, cooked with smoked paprika, onions, tomatoes, sour cream, and a side of hand-turned Caraway pasta noodles   $12.95 per person*.

March 30 - Chicken Leek and Mushroom Pie ~ Pieces of Mariposa Farm’s chicken cooked in a rich creamy  sauce with leeks, mushrooms and a hint of Mrs. McGarrigle’s Honey Tarragon mustard, topped with puff pastry.  $9.95 per person*.

April 6 - Hot Smoked Trout ~ Fillet of trout from Lyons Farm, smoked, served with leek and potato Rosti  and green beans cooked in a creamy Chipotle Lime mustard sauce.  $13.95 per person*.
