    Learning has never been this delicious!

    Whether you’re a layman or an expert, regardless of skill level you can enjoy a fun and informative cooking session right at our store! We keep the sessions small so everyone in the class has the chance to see, hear and taste! Our classes include topics range from learning how to cook authentic Thai food to preparing decadent Italian pastries! When it’s over, we send you on your way with the recipes you just learned and instructions so you can make it at home! Plus, as a cooking class participant you get 15% off store merchandise on the day of the class!

    Cooking Class Registration
    In you would like to book a class, either call us at 613.269.3752 or email us! Payment is required at time of registration and we accept cash, debit, Visa, and Mastercard. Prices published do not include tax.

    Cancellation Policy
    Unfortunately, classes are non-refundable. But if you can’t make it, you can send a friend in your place or use the equivalent store credit for a future cooking class or store merchandise, as long as we are given one week’s notice. Please note that if cancellation is made within one week of the class, no credit will be given.

    About the Chef:

    Chef Maggie Runacres has a very extensive history with the international food industry. She graduated from Sheffield Polytechnic UK before manufacturing and selling her own food products as partner of an international company based out of the UK.  From hosting her own radio show in France to hosting a TV show to being Principal Chef for Loblaws, this woman has all the foodie experiences and then some!

    About the Class:

    Spend an afternoon learning about the ingredients and history of curries! With a focus on Thai, East Indian and Jamaican curries, you’ll be making your own dry curry mix or paste as well as preparing the dishes listed below!

    Spend the afternoon learning about the various flavours prominent in Thai cooking! Mouth watering dishes are brought to life with the help of Chef Judy Dempsey, who has spent many months exploring the cuisine on her travels through Thailand. With an inspiring respect for wonderful flavour, Chef Judy will cultivate your love for cooking outside the box!
